I present brand identities to clients every week. The mockups always took longer than they should: a PSD per scene, a smart object per item, everything redone when the logo changed. I wanted to use my own photos as they were, and change a design once.
So I made the tool. I can't stop making tools, odd little contraptions and things of all kinds. Muckup is one of them, and it is tested on real client projects before it reaches anyone else.
How it is built
- Native and local. A Mac app. Your files stay in your folders.
- Computed, not generated. No image model: perspective, light and finishes come from your photo.
- Light files. A mockup is a photo with its setup inside, not a heavy document.
