A project-based mockup workflow keeps all of a brand's designs and all of its scenes in one folder, so a change to a design reaches every mockup and the whole set is exported together.
One folder, three sub-folders
| Folder | What goes in |
|---|---|
| Mockups | Your photos, set up once. The setup lives in each image file. |
| Designs | Your flat artwork: PNG, PDF, SVG or JPEG. Finish shapes are kept here too. |
| Exports | The finished images, named and numbered. |
These are ordinary folders on your Mac. They work with Dropbox or iCloud Drive and open in the Finder. Nothing is locked in a library.
Save once, update everywhere
Muckup watches the folders. Save a new version of the logo from Illustrator, Figma or Affinity and every scene using it is refreshed. No smart object to reopen, no file to replace one by one.
Tags
Give a layer a tag such as "card front" or "poster". Every layer of the project with the same tag receives the same design. Drop the front of the card once and it lands on every card in every photo.
Export the lot
Set the format, quality and size once, then ⌘E exports every mockup of the project into Exports. WebP, JPEG, PNG or HEIC. Export Presentation PDF puts them on 16:9 pages for the client meeting.
Create once. Export thirty times without redoing anything.
