Fidelity in a mockup means the design on screen is your actual file, with its exact shapes, colors and text, rather than an approximation drawn by an image model.
Side by side
| Image generation | Muckup | |
|---|---|---|
| Logo and text | Redrawn, often slightly wrong | Your file, unchanged |
| Colors | Drift from the brand | Taken from the file |
| Same design on 20 scenes | Different each time | Identical everywhere |
| Change after approval | Generate again | Save the design, the scenes update |
| Print finishes | Not controllable | Foil, varnish, embossing, with light |
| Where it runs | On a remote server | On your Mac |
Why it matters for approval
A client signs off an identity when they trust what they see. A logo that is almost right cannot go into a brand guideline. The details a designer cannot lose are the exact file, the exact color and the exact placement, repeated on every scene.
Use both
Generators are good at making scenes. Use one to make the room, the table or the shelf if you like. Then open that picture in Muckup like any photo and place your real file on it. Erase original print removes the fake text the generator left behind.
Muckup itself uses no generative model. It does not invent anything in your image: it computes perspective, light and finishes from the picture you give it.
Keep the scene. Keep your file.
