A packaging mockup places your pack design on a photo of the pack, following its faces, curves and roundness, with the photo's light and optional print finishes.
Every surface of a pack
| Surface | Shape in Muckup |
|---|---|
| Box faces, flat labels | Standard, one layer per face |
| Sleeves, pouches, bags | Curved: edges snap to the photo |
| Cans, bottles, jars | Cylinder, with top and bottom views |
| Fabric bags, wraps | Fabric: follows the folds |
Finishes that sell a premium pack
- Gold, silver or copper foil, flat or raised.
- Spot varnish, flat or raised.
- Emboss and deboss.
- A light you move until the finish matches the scene.
Not a 3D modeler
Muckup does not build a 3D model of the pack. It dresses the pack in your photograph. If you shoot your packaging, or have pictures of it in place, that is the fastest way to a believable image. Compare with Pacdora.
